Now we have an outstanding opportunity for talented Senior Java Developer to work on an interesting client for long term employment.
About the Client:
The company was founded in 1995. The company develops software for and provides services to local governments in the Netherlands. Our main expertise areas are the collection, verification and registration of real estate data and mass appraisal based on this data.
The company has about 100 employees. The software development team consists of approximately 15 people: interaction designers, software developers, testers, architect and management.
The company has standardized its software development environment around Java J2EE, Red-hat Developer Studio (eclipse), JBoss Seam, JBPM, Hibernate and Oracle. The application server is based on JBoss AS, JBoss ESB and Jasper Server (reporting).
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years development experience with Java
• Knowledge of project approach, design methodologies and Design Patterns
• Technically oriented design methods and techniques such as UML
• Data analysis and modeling
• Methods and techniques for application (component) construction
• Good knowledge of Java EE 5 +, Java APIs and annotations
• JDBC, JPA, JSF 2.x, EJB3
• Knowledge of application integration capabilities
• Web Services (Axis2, XFire, JBossWS, JAX-WS), HTTP, JMS, jBPM, etc.
• JBoss ESB
• Knowledge of available server products and standard solutions
• Application Server (JBoss AS)
• Database Server (Oracle)
• Knowledge of common design patterns and frameworks
• Knowledge of concepts and industry standards
• Web 2.0 technology ((X) HTML / CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, etc.)
• XML and related technologies (XSLT, XPath, XSD, DOM, etc.)
• GIS
• TestNG
• Prepare technical documentation (UML, MS Word, Visio, templates, etc.)
• Knowledge of tools such as Eclipse, Subversion, Continuum, Maven
Responsibilities:
Developing an entirely new product line based on SOA principles and other GIS packages applications.The Senior Java specialist will be primarily responsible for developing all layers of functionality in an application and supporting and directing the other developers in the team. You will be able to contribute to structural complex solutions, from architecture to implementation and analysis. You will work in a team with the latest technologies of Java, integration and messaging middleware. The projects that you perform are challenging, diverse and based on modern technology. Development is standardized on JBossAS, JBoss Seam, JBoss ESB, and Oracle.
