Security & Technical Consultant - Channel Island - Guernsey - up to £50k plus benefits
The Senior Manager of this Channel Island IT Services company is looking for a Consultant to provide IT Networking and data communications related consultancy services to clients in both the public and private sectors. With in depth experience*qualifications in several of the following: TCP*IP, Detailed Cisco Routing and Switching knowledge. Security & Firewall - Checkpoint FW-1 4.1, NG and NG-AI, Cisco PIX. Practical experience in network security*intrusion testing & consultancy. Anti virus software. Citrix systems design and administration. Knowledge of ADSL * LAN * WAN environments. VoIP (corporate environment). Should have a good working knowledge within several of the following areas: Knowledge of SMTP mail and various mail server packages including Exchange, Mailsweeper, GFI MailEssentials, Dmail, MS Windows 2000*2003 Server and XP operating systems. Active Directory. Client server architecture design experience. UNIX (Solaris and Linux) knowledge. SQL Server, SQL and scripting. DNS and RADIUS administration within an ISP environment. Appropriate technical qualifications (Degree, MCSE2000*3, CCSE, CCNP etc) or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge. Should have good general business*business development skills, experience of developing new products and services, several years experience in a senior IT*Networking consultancy*technical authority role and project Management experience.
Employment will be subject to Channel Island housing and right to work licensing, the client does have a work permit ready which can be simply transferred over.
