Technical Consultant- Huddesfield - £22k - £26k plus car allowance plus benefits
This revenue-generating position involves working on customer-focused software implementation projects. The Technical Consultant is a resource to the customer and to our own Business Consultants, primarily exporting, manipulating and importing data, and also writing or amending reports (currently using Crystal Reports). Must Understand and be able to apply all Consultancy Procedures within the 1st month. Receive thorough product training, gain a good understanding of all areas of the product within 3 months. To develop an expert?s knowledge of the system?s data dictionary within 3 months. To be delivering an average of 2.5 chargeable days per week within three months. To be delivering 3.5 chargeable days per week within six months. You Must Have:
At least 1½ year?s experience of the following: data manipulation (queries, updates, outputs, use of multiple tables) using Microsoft SQL Server tools. Configuration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases. Data manipulation using Microsoft Excel including the use of Macros. Advanced report writing using Crystal Reports including totalling, sub-reports and passing of parameters and variables between reports and in depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2000*2003 including configuring ODBC datasources.
